His Highness Prince Badr bin Muhammad bin Jalawi Al Saud, the Governor of Al-Ahsa and  the Chairman of Al-Bir Society Board of Directors, and Sheikh Abdulmonem Al-Rashed, the Board of Trustees Chairman of Abdulmonem Al-Rashed Humanitarian Foundation, signed a cooperation memorandum to launch the “Empowerment of Orphans” Scientific initiative which supports high-school orphans.

His Highness, the Governor of Al-Ahsa, applauded this agreement between the Takamul Center for the Care and Development of Orphans and the Abdulmonem Al-Rashed Humanitarian Foundation, pointing out that this agreement is one of the models to be followed in achieving integration between non-profit sector institutions that can achieve sustainable development goals, serve orphans, and achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Abdulmohsen bin Abdulhadi Al-Sultan, the Executive Director of the Abdulmonem Al-Rashed Humanitarian Foundation, said that the Foundation is keen on achieving excellence and on directing our students to achieve excellence, pointing out that the category of orphans is one of the most important categories on which most of the Foundation’s projects are based; the Scientific initiative "Empowering Orphans" matched the foundation's objectives and was therefore supported and developed to achieve the desired benefits for both parties involved.
