Committee tasks and competencies
- Review the organization’s periodic reports, assess performance, and review or reapprove new initiatives before presenting them to the board for alignment and endorsement.
- Review budgets and annual plans, and investigate any significant discrepancies before they are presented to the board of directors.
- Follow up and receive reports on the implementation and completion of projects and initiatives, if any.
- Monitor organizational performance and seek explanations for any deviations from the approved plans, budgets, and expectations.
- Assist the board in fulfilling its responsibilities, especially those assigned directly to it.
- Ensure that administrative committees, if any, are functioning effectively within the organization.
- Review past meeting minutes and track the execution of previously made decisions to ensure unresolved matters are addressed.
